We use the financial services company Plaid to connect your bank to your Jupe account. For your convenience, Plaid asks you to log in with your bank username and password to connect your bank account.
Plaid, a Visa company, has partnerships with over 10,000 financial institutions around the world and maintains SOC-2 Type II compliance, which requires companies to establish and follow strict information security policies and procedures, encompassing the security, availability, processing, integrity, and confidentiality of customer data. If you've ever used Venmo, Robinhood, or Acorns, you've used Plaid there, too.
Why bank account details are required
Guests pay everything through Jupe, and in order for you to get paid, you need to connect your bank account to your Jupe account. You can connect your bank account when you add your listing, and you can wait to connect your bank account when you accept your first booking request.
Other bank account connection options
If you don't feel comfortable logging into your bank account, please contact us so we can help add your bank account using your account and routing numbers.
